Course summary

The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business with Language degree seeks to develop a graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a professional in a variety of environments. Successful graduates will be dual-skilled having a broad base of knowledge and experience of the international business environment coupled with strong ability in either French, German or Spanish. This honours degree is an innovative programme geared at preparing students for working in roles that require broad understanding of business in an international environment. Students will have the opportunity to undertake a placement/study abroad while studying a language while also developing skills in marketing, sales, business development and management. Students will continue to learn either French, Spanish or German throughout the degree programme.

Graduates may pursue careers in a wide number of areas including business development, international marketing, multi-territory sales, new product development, logistics management, customer relationship management, international project management, trade promotion and development, services marketing and a wide variety of roles where a second European language is valued.

Academic qualification equivalents

• Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
• All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12 or Indian School Certificate (Year 12) as recognized qualifications

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS 6.5 overall (6.0 for Business programmes)
• IELTS 5.5 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing)
• PTE 60 (63 for integrated programmes)
• PTE 55 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing)
