Learn how an undergraduate Neurobiology emphasis can prepare you for medical school, a graduate degree, research fields or a career in biotechnology. Neurobiology is the study of the cellular and molecular level of the nervous system as well as its network functioning and impact on behavior. Students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with a Neurobiology emphasis gain a broad base of interdisciplinary study. Their solid foundation in chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics is then applied to studies in genetics, human and animal behavior and development, mind modeling, neural networking and neural data analysis.
