You’ll learn the technical skills you need to become a proficient electrical engineer, and develop the communication and business skills necessary to build a thriving career.
As an electrical engineer, you’ll learn to design, build, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, ranging from large-scale power systems to smart home devices. Starting in your first year, you can begin gaining real-life experience with an industry-supported research position within our IDEA Lab -- SHU’s open lab space where students explore, invent, and discover.
In the Electrical Engineering program, you will:
