About Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Sciences in Ohio Northern University

Embark on a journey of scientific discovery at the Raabe College of Pharmacy. Since 1884, we have been helping to solve health problems and cure disease. We are nationally known for the rigor and quality of our academics, and our bachelor’s degree program builds upon our recognized expertise in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.

Through the program, you’ll receive a solid foundation in the liberal arts as well as the pharmaceutical and life sciences. You’ll be able to delve deeply into subjects that interest you, such as immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and data science, and communicate effectively with your peers and collaborators.

Starting your first year, you’ll begin laboratory training, and throughout your four years at ONU you’ll spend extensive time conducting experiments. Your research training with outstanding ONU professors may lead to presenting data at scientific conferences or co-authoring papers. You’ll also intern for an entire semester with a pharmaceutical or biomedical company.

Upon graduation, you could pursue several routes. As a career ready scientist, you could immediately enter the workforce in the pharmaceutical or biomedical industries. Or you could opt to continue your education by enrolling in a graduate program, or in medical, dental, veterinary or pharmacy school.
