The Bachelor of Social Work degree program at Fairfield University prepares graduates to recognize and value the inherent worth and dignity of all people and promote the well-being of individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities informed by the person-in-environment perspective. It seeks to promote the profession of social work by educating students in the Jesuit tradition, to become “men and woman for others,” who recognize social inequities and intervene as leaders for social change.
