Advising Notes

1. Courses in major requirements, mathematics, and the physical sciences taken CR/NC are not counted toward fulfillment of degree requirements.
2. Students must achieve a “C” or better in major requirements, mathematics, and physical sciences courses.
3. If the upper-division writing skills requirement is not met by passing the university Upper-Division Writing Examination (0 units), students need to take a 3- to 4-unit W course (e.g., PLANT 110W or ENGL 160W) and pass with a grade of C or higher.
4. All architectural studies students must consult with their academic advisors at least once per academic year.
5. All students enrolled in architectural studies courses are required to follow the “DISCOVERe Mobile Device Requirements” as established by the Department of Construction Management. Academic qualification equivalents

•  All college or university transcripts with English translation.  High school transcript is required for lower-division applicants.  

English language requirements

• TOEFL – 61 iBT, or
• IELTS – 6.0 or with 5.5 Band score in each section.
