LEARN TO PROTECT AND SECURE MODERN DATA INFRASTRUCTURE

The BEng (Hons)/MEng(Hons) Cyber Security includes the development of many industry relevant skills based around the ethical hacking framework.

This is all underpinned by a thorough knowledge of both networking (CCNA) and programming theory.

Graduates of this degree will be equipped to provide network security support in CSE and CSO roles, for companies in many diverse sectors such as healthcare, banking and finance.

Work placement opportunities available through the School of Engineering & Computing allow students to put theory into practice in real-world business environments.

COURSE DETAILS

This course will provide you with the necessary skills to protect and secure modern data infrastructure. This is all underpinned by a thorough knowledge of both networking (CCNA) and programming theory.

• Wireless Networks and their Security
• Intrusion Detection and Prevention
• Network Security Monitoring

Academic qualification equivalents

• 65% or higher in the High School/College exams for Undergraduate applicants

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS      :    6.0 with no skill below 5.5
• TOEFL    :    78
• PTE         :    An overall score of 54 with no element below 51
