About Civil Engineering in University of West of Scotland

OVERVIEW

Our technical MSc Civil Engineering provides you with the advanced knowledge and skills for supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects whilst minimising the impact on the natural environment. You will advance your knowledge to support your career progression within consulting and contracting organisations whilst satisfying the learning requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

Civil Engineering, as a discipline, involves the design, construction, and maintenance of the built environment, including infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, and railways.

This master's satisfies the technical and managerial expectations required by civil engineering employers as our course will develop the skills needed to interface with functional users, other than engineers, giving you a more holistic view of the processes behind successfully delivering a civil engineering project.
