This master's course is ideal for any chemical engineer holding a Bachelors degree that requires further learning to enable progression to qualify for Chartered Engineer status.

Our course will deepen and widen your knowledge and understanding of chemical and process engineering specialist topics. The Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) comprises of a number of core modules and the MSc is completed through a detailed research investigation and dissertation.

For the Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) stage, you will study the following core modules:

  • Advanced Fluid Mechanics & CFD (core, 20 credits)
  • Advanced Heat Transfer (core, 20 credits)
  • Process Design and Safety (core, 20 credits)
  • Multiphase and Biochemical Reactors Design (core, 20 credits)
  • Separation Processes (core, 20 credits)
  • Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Systems (core, 10 credits)
  • Research Design and Methods (core, 10 credits)

Academic qualification equivalents

  • Students must have successfully completed at least one year of undergraduate study with recognized institution.
