About Media And Communications BA (hons) in University of Sussex

We also offer the Media and Communications (with a partnership year in Hong Kong) BA, where you have the fascinating experience of spending your third year at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Your future career

You'll have the chance to develop further real-world skills outside the classroom. You can write for our student newspaper, or present a programme on our television channel or radio station.

Guest speakers give you first-hand information about what a career in the industry is really like.

The skills you develop prepare you for a range of careers including advertising and marketing. You gain in-depth understanding of newspapers, magazines, radio, television, cinema, mobile and social media, so you’re prepared for your future career.

Academic qualification equivalents

• 80% from ISC Indian School certificate of Education (CISCE)  or 80% from SSC All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE)

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS          :          6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in each component
• TOEFL        :          88 overall, including at least 20 in Listening, 19 in Reading, 21 in Speaking, 23 in Writing.
• PTE             :           62 overall, including at least 56 in all four skills.
