About Electronic Engineering (meng) in University of Southampton

Our 4-year, integrated master's will let you design, build and test your own electronic systems, including a project to solve a real-life problem. This degree is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). It provides a route to professional registration as a Chartered Engineer.

Our master's degree in electronic engineering provides a solid basis in engineering. It allows you to specialise your studies with topics like:

You'll also learn about the latest advances in areas such as quantum technology and photonics (the science of light), from our researchers, who are experts in these fields.

As part of this course you can:

This MEng Electronic Engineering degree is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
