About Bsc (hons) Mathematics (including Foundation Year) in University of South Wales
Want to study Mathematics at university but don’t have the grades? The Foundation route is designed for applicants who do not meet the admissions criteria for our BSc (Hons) Mathematics degree. This additional year focuses on key material from A-Level Mathematics, its applications and a number of more advanced topics.
The Foundation Maths course will involve a large number of contact hours with Mathematics staff to ensure you are properly supported. Successfully passing the Foundation year guarantees you entry onto the first year of our BSc Mathematics course where you will build upon and apply the knowledge gained during the Foundation year.
