Biochemistry is the foundation for understanding all biological processes. This course includes a year of study in the USA at the University of Toledo in Ohio. This exchange programme has been running for over 35 years. The University of Toledo is based in Ohio and just an hour's drive from Detroit - the largest city in Michigan. Detroit has a major international airport, hosting one of the largest airline hubs in the country, meaning that travel around the USA and further afield whilst you are on exchange is very easy. Situated on the western trip of Lake Eerie, Toledo is less than a five-hour drive from Toronto and Chicago.
