Our Criminal Justice LLM examines theoretical, comparative, and international aspects of the criminal process using a contemporary, contextual approach. The programme offers modules which consider criminal justice issues through a variety of perspectives, including: human rights, equality and discrimination, liberal theory, and criminology. Through our varied optional modules, you can focus your studies on your own interests and career goals.
You are taught by experts in their fields who integrate their research into their teaching. We encourage a culture of collaboration in the school and you can enrich your learning experience through the Criminal Justice Research Centre. The centre hosts a number of interesting speakers every year and you can also engage with our monthly forum, organised by our PhD students.
With an advanced law degree from the University of Nottingham, you will graduate with all the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to pursue your career goals.
