Share first year modules with students on other fashion industry courses, enabling you to develop a broad understanding of the industry and the opportunities within it before focusing on your specialism. You'll then specialise in creative direction, exploring the subject from both a theoretical and commercial angle through a learning style that is designed to immerse you in every aspect of the fashion industry.

• Explore the function of creative direction within the international fashion industry, while completing a range of projects designed to cultivate your creative skills and expand your fashion industry knowledge. You'll work across media on projects that include exhibitions, trend forecasting, publications, and creative development. The academic expertise here at Huddersfield will support you as you develop your skills in styling, creative concept development, photography, fashion film, and graphic design.

The role of a creative director is to define and develop the aesthetic of fashion, ranging from store visual merchandising, advertising and image-making, to creative and digital content and customer communications. Fashion Creative Direction BA(Hons) gives you the skills and knowledge to develop your creativity and expertise within a commercial framework that directly reflects current fashion industry practice.

• You may be considered for entry onto Undergraduate courses if your Standard XII award (i.e. HSSC) was awarded by CBSE, CISCE or Metro state boards. Otherwise you may need to complete an access (foundation) programme.

English language requirements 

• IELTS :6.0 with no lower than 5.5 in any element.
• PTE:51
