Theatre Production - Arts courses

About Drama And English Literature, BA Hons in University of Greenwich

On our innovative Drama and English Literature degree, you'll be taught by world-leading academics and theatre practitioners. You spend half of your time at the Bathway Theatre - a specialist drama facility with six studios and a flexible theatre space - and half at Greenwich Maritime campus.

As part of this course, you'll study literature, visual narratives, fiction and poetry. You can hone your performance skills through large-scale public productions and create your own Theatre Company in the final year.

Our 4-year 'sandwich' mode includes a professional practice year where you can work with one of our industry partners or study abroad in the USA.

Academic Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Degrees (Bachelor's)

For entry to our four-year extended degree programmes, you will need to have met the following:

• Standard XII with a minimum of 50%
• 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements

For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

• Standard XII with a minimum of 60%(70% for Law, Architecture)
• 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements

Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history.

For advanced entry to Year 2 you will need to complete:

• Year 1 of a relevant degree with a minimum of 55%

You must show your English language skills to complete your course. Requirements vary by course and level, but the good news is, you don't have to wait to reach the required level before you apply.

Here's what you need:

• IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component

For some undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, you need:

• IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component

For MPhil/PhD postgraduate research degrees, you need:

• IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component

For many of our extended degree programmes, you will need:

• IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component

The English language requirements for some extended degree programmes vary.
