About BA Business Economics in University of Essex

Our BA Business Economics provides you with the theoretical and practical skills you need to understand and implement economic decisions made by businesses, managers and financial specialists.

This course is collaboration between our Department of Economics and Essex Business School, allowing you to gain an overview of economics that is relevant to business and introducing you to a wide range of skills within economics, management and organisations and finance.

Award of the Indian year 12 (Standard XII) examination with an overall average from the four best subjects (excluding PE and local language): CBSE, CISCE and other regional and national boards - 70%, with 70% in English if taken with CBSE or CISCE board.
Karnataka (Bangalore), Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh boards - 60%
Kolkata (West Bengal board) - 55%
Plus 60% in Indian year 10 (Standard X) Mathematics.
