At the University of East London, we pride ourselves on the real-world relevance of our courses and the impact we are making in our East London community and the wider world. We are an open and inclusive university that is focused on transforming the lives of our students.
Adult nursing is a highly rewarding and challenging career which will provide you with a combination of practical and theoretical training to achieve a qualification that will allow you to make an important contribution to providing care to adults of all ages, cultures and beliefs.
At UEL, we work with a number of local leading trust partners who offer innovative placement experiences that span both physical and mental health. You will experience a broad range of environments for you to develop the knowledge skills and behaviours required to develop confidence and experience in adult nursing. The nursing programme at UEL thrives on the supportive relationship with practice partners across the communities of East London and serves to support the health and social care needs of the local population. You will gain experience in delivering patient centred care for people who may wish to be cared for at home, in a community setting or in a hospital setting. You will support patients to make decisions about their healthcare needs and support those who may have complex healthcare needs. You will be working in a rapidly developing environment with evolving new technologies and new ways of delivering healthcare where you will play a pro-active part of an inter-professional team.
