This includes knowledge of banking and financial systems and international markets as well as the role played by both commercial and central banks within the economy. Designed for UK and international students alike, this master's degree examines different international banking systems, money, investments and regulations which have become increasingly important in recent years.

The course is a fit for students from a variety of backgrounds, and does not require any previous training in finance. Academic qualification equivalents

• Bachelor’s degree with 55% or above considered from University of Delhi, University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, IITs and IIMs (considered equivalent to a UK 2.1 degree)

  Bachelor’s degree with 60% or above required from other institutions (considered equivalent to a UK 2.1 degree)

  A Bachelor’s degree with 50% or above may be considered comparable to a UK 2.2 degree.

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS: The requirement for most undergraduate and postgraduate degrees is IELTS 6.5 overall with a 6.0 in writing and 6.0/5.5 minimum in the other three components.
• TOEFL (iBT): 88 overall, including at least 21 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, 23 in Writing.
• PTE: 62 overall, including at least 56 in all four skills
