Technology and globalisation have radically altered the way in which organisations operate. More logistics professionals than ever before are needed to keep the wheels of business turning.
Our BSc (Hons) Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) with foundation year course aims to educate multi-talented supply chain professionals and executives who can take a ‘big picture’ view of commerce, and the role their organisation plays within a collaborative network.
The foundation year is the first year of this degree, offering an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of business and supply chain management alongside study skills development. It is designed to prepare you for degree level study.
With this preparation, you’ll be ready to explore how international trade offers opportunities to achieve competitive advantage through effective communication, management and material flow within supply chain operations. We’ll explain how goods and services can be marketed on the basis of quality, service level, lead time and sustainability credentials – not just low cost.
Our dedicated team of experienced LSCM professionals and academics will support you to develop career and life skills, such as leadership, strategic thinking, team management and professional communication. These enhance your employability, maximising your potential for success in this fast-moving global industry.
