This cross-disciplinary programme is open to students and practitioners from the investigative arena. You develop your knowledge of contemporary theory and practices in criminal investigation, relevant legislation, and information relating to criminal justice studies and criminal law. This course develops your intellectual capability and enhances your understanding of national and international criminal justice systems.
This course is inter-disciplinary by nature and offers a strong academic base and theoretical underpinning. It has a clear focus which emphasizes the importance of relevant legislation, policies and practices, linking them to the overall theme exploring criminal investigation.The course includes a dissertation module which will enable you to focus on one of more aspect(s) of a criminal investigation of your choice and one, perhaps, not necessarily taught on the course.
Minimum of 55% or CGPA 5.8/10 from a recognised Indian university; 50% or CGPA 5.5/10 minimum from the following universities: Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Jadavpur or Kolkata University
