As an Electronic and Electrical Engineer you may work with the design and usage of a broad range of vital circuits and systems that fulfil society’s needs in electrical and electronic technologies.
Electronic engineering covers analogue and digital design with integrated circuits applied to robotics, instrumentation, computer and communication systems. Electrical engineering involves power generation and transmission, electrical motors and renewable energy. To put into practical application what you learn, you’ll undertake challenging team projects, such as building underwater robots and armoured sumo wrestling robots. In the later stages of the course, you will have the opportunity to specialise two specialist areas to further enhance your employment prospectus when you graduate.
Academic qualification equivalents
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
