This interdisciplinary programme is designed to develop the next generation of scriptwriters and producers. You will gain the specialist knowledge and skills needed to work across these industry sectors.
This is a degree programme that teaches both screenwriting and producing, providing students with the skills required to navigate a vibrant and fast-moving sector.
Immersed in the industry, you will learn how all the different elements of a production come together from script to screen. You will study aspects of media law and business as well as flex your creative skills as a writer and producer.
By the end of your third year you'll have worked with your fellow students and the staff at Regent's to produce short films and create scripts for a TV pilot and a feature film. Working with students from around the world will allow you to draw on a broad range of perspectives on writing and producing. You'll develop key skills which are essential for career success as a scriptwriter-producer - or you'll discover more roles in the industry that excite you.
In addition, you will have the chance to undertake a work placement that will give you first-hand experience of working in the industry.
