About Computer Science With Management (itmb) With Industrial Experience in Queen Mary University of London

Computer Science with Management is an IT Management for Business (ITMB) programme, bringing together expertise from two schools to combine computing and business topics.

You’ll develop both theoretical understanding and hands-on expertise in programming, computer systems and networks, web technologies and information systems. Alongside, you’ll be learning vital skills for success in business, such as management, marketing and accounting.

Industry involvement is fundamental to this programme. You’ll have regular ‘Industry Insights’ and ‘Guru Lectures’ on issues facing the IT industry, and be invited to employer events, competitions and mock interviews.

In the final year, you’ll design an individual project based on your own interests and linked to current research areas, such as security, big data, computer gaming, interaction design, machine learning, pervasive computing, theoretical computer science, social network analysis or digital audio.

​​​Academic qualification equivalents

• Students who have successfully completed Standard XII examinations will be considered for entry onto our undergraduate degrees across the full disciplinary spectrum.

  As a minimum requirement, students who have taken Central Board/State Board examinations and achieved in the range of 75% to 85% will be considered for first year entry.

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS :6.0 overall including 5.5 in Writing, in Reading, Listening and Speaking. 
• TOEFL IBT:79 overall including 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading, and 20 in Speaking.
• PTE: 57 overall including 51 in Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking.
