About Fdsc Artisan Food Production in Nottingham Trent University

This course is delivered by professional artisan food specialists at The School of Artisan Food - based on the Welbeck Estate - alongside food technology specialists at Nottingham Trent University.

• Teaching will be split between The School of Artisan Food, based in North Nottinghamshire on the Welbeck Estate, and Nottingham Trent University Brackenhurst Campus.
• You'll benefit from a free shuttle bus, which will take you from Brackenhurst Campus to the Welbeck Estate for your lectures and classes.
• You'll have access to newly refurbished, purpose-built training rooms and a demonstration theatre at The School of Artisan Food. Meanwhile, you'll also have access to all the facilities at Nottingham Trent University including our library, Employability team and food laboratory.

Higher Secondary Certificate (XIIth)

Grade average of 65% made from four relevant subjects (native language excluded)

English language requirements

IELTS : 6.5

• With a minimum of 5.5 in each component

PTE : 62

• With no less than 51 in any component

Nottingham Trent University Admission Procedure 

• Application: The UG applications are accepted through ‘Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)’ and PG applications through the ‘NTU applicant portal’.
• Application fee: One needs to pay £13 for 1 UG course and £24 for multiple UG courses.
• Application deadlines: For UG students the last date to apply is June 30, 2019. The PG programs don’t have any official deadline, however, it is better to apply one month prior to course start date.
• General requirements: Completed application form, academic transcripts, and English proficiency tests.
• Additional requirements: Birth certificate, passport copy, LOR.

English Proficiency Test: Majority of the courses require IELTS score ranging between 6.0 and 6.0 for entry. However, other equivalent English test scores are also acceptable.
