Overview
This programme equips you with both an advanced theoretical understanding of the subject and the practical skills that you’ll need for tackling cellular pathology in a research or clinical context at higher specialist level.
You’ll cover a range of different areas – exploring disorders, developing analytical techniques and getting to grips with histopathology. From there, you’ll tackle a Research Project on a topic of your choice – exploring the issues that fascinate you, while developing an understanding of both the process and the communication of scientific enquiry. Along the way, you’ll have the support of an expert team and access to specialist, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. You’ll also benefit from our extensive links with hospitals across Greater Manchester – with the chance to do your research in clinically relevant areas.
Whether you study full-time for a year or part-time for up to three, our MSc Cellular Pathology can equip you for a career full of impact.
