Business psychology is an emerging field and the opportunities for an exciting career will continue to grow. Many organisations have already seen the value of having a business psychologist on board – the NHS and Ministry of Justice have entire occupational psychology departments.

Business psychologists are helping Lego understand the value of play in the workplace. They’re helping NASA train astronauts for the stress of space missions. And they’re helping the gaming industry make video games more exciting and challenging.

You could look for work in house with an organisation (especially in the public sector), or you could become a consultant working with lots of different businesses. Many business psychologists also find writing work discussing psychological issues for magazines and blogs.
