About Law With International Business And Management | LLB (hons) in Leeds Beckett University

Course Details

You will be equipped for both legal practice and the realities of business and management in a globalised and fast-changing world. This course will give you a broad understanding of law, business theories and management practices in an international context. You will learn how to make strategic business and management decisions and develop skills in legal analysis and problem solving.

Changes to legal education and training
Legal education and training is currently under detailed review by professional regulators in the legal sector. The review is examining the education and training routes into the legal profession and the qualifications and assessments to be undertaken and passed in order to become a solicitor or barrister. The outcome of the review includes proposals to remove existing routes and establish new ones. 

The review outcomes are still being finalised. In the meantime, the LLB programmes and the GDL offered by Leeds Law School continue to comply with the regulatory requirements currently in force for the academic stage of legal training for qualification as a barrister or a solicitor.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board (BSB) have issued a common protocol for guidance. This can be found by visiting the SRA website.

Academic qualification equivalents

Standard 12th qualifications (CBSE/ICSE or State Boards of equivalent)

Grade: Minimum aggregate of 60% and above

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
• All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) – English Grade 70% 
• Indian School Certificate (Class-XII) (CISCE) – English Grade 70%
