The market for event professionals is growing. Get to grips with the technical and logistical side of events management and learn everything you need to stand out in the field of event operations and production management.
From the production and staging of live events in purpose-built venues and temporary locations, to planning the logistics of support services and managing security, this course will combine knowledge of functional and strategic areas of event management to prepare you for a successful career in the industry.
You will gain an understanding of health, safety and risk, crowd behaviour and control, event security and protocols, stakeholder and relations management, and project and stage management, as well as developing skills in computer aided design (CAD) for site planning. You will also have the opportunity to study aspects of the course in expert detail through the research methods module, before putting your theoretical knowledge into practice during your final year technical major project.
