The UK Government has announced that nursing, midwifery and many allied health students will benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year. The funding will be available from next year and will not have to be repaid.

Learn to care for children and support families in a range of challenging situations. While you’re at King’s, you’ll work in different environments that give you the practical skills you’ll need every day as children’s nurse.
Your course will involve placements at some of London’s renowned hospitals and healthcare providers. And, to improve your professional skills, you’ll attend lectures, seminars, and practical lessons in a range of topics relevant to your work.
King’s is known for the quality of its research too. So cutting-edge thinking will inform everything you learn. We encourage you to take the lead in your own development, but we provide everything you need to excel. We support you throughout your time at King’s (and beyond). You’ll have a personal tutor assigned to you, we’ll visit you on placements, and there are plenty of support options elsewhere at the University.
Before beginning the course, you must have occupational health clearance and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks completed.

Academic qualification equivalents
The Indian High School Leaving Certificate (from CBSE and CISCE boards only) at the end of standard XII will generally be considered for direct entry onto undergraduate programmes with an overall average score of 80% and 90%.
