Understanding the psychological dynamics of a team could make you a big asset to a business, and so could having a business psychology degree.
Accredited by the Association for Business Psychology (ABP), this course is aimed at those interested in how psychology can influence and assist the practice of managing, leading and motivating people within the workplace.
It provides a thorough grounding in the theory and practical skills required to apply psychological research, business tools and methods within a variety of organisational settings and corporate cultures. Learning business psychology related techniques to promote individual workplace wellbeing and organisational success, the course will help prepare you for business and organisational psychology roles in management or consultancy, in human resources and the many other occupational functions, such as learning, training and development, recruitment, health and wellbeing.

Course information
The course will gradually introduce and then develop your knowledge of the key aspects of Business and Organisational Psychology.
Through practical case studies, you will understand the individual, team and organisational factors that affect workplace behaviours, such as decision-making, personnel selection and recruitment, motivation and teamwork, as well as the tools and techniques to manage such situations.
As the course progresses, we will develop your understanding of psychological and behavioural research design and analysis. Core modules include key Business and Organisational Psychology areas including: work and wellbeing; psychological assessment at work; leadership, engagement and motivation; learning, training and development.
We offer a dedicated module in consumer psychology, which examines advertising psychology, brand management, the selling process and time management. We also enhance your critical thinking to develop key academic and research skills.
Where our graduates work
Many of our graduates have gone on to work as independent Business Psychologists, as graduates for large organisations in sales and HR, as Learning, Training and Development practitioners or as independent Business Consultants for companies like Kelloggs and Ricoh UK.

Applicants who do not meet one or both of the two criteria above but have relevant experience will also be considered for entry on an individual basis.
English as a Foreign Language This course requires IELTS of 6.5 overall. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
