Are you a theatre maker? Want to start your own theatre company, or bring your creative ideas to a wider audience? This Creative Producing MA is designed to teach you the core skills you need to get your work to market, and help you develop industry contacts.

Creative Producers are in demand more than ever, as they are vital to the innovation and sustainability of the cultural industries. This course is for producers at all stages of their career.

If you’re a new or early career producer, you’ll learn and develop skills to enhance your creative vision, artistic judgement, business skills and acumen. If you’re an established producer, you’ll be able to develop, evaluate and reflect on your own practice. You’ll also expand your artistic and market awareness by gaining insights into innovative artistic practices.

During the MA Creative Producing course, you’ll build on your current experience and artistic vision, explore your creative ideas and judgement, and develop your entrepreneurial thinking.

Academic qualification equivalents

• Normally a Bachelor's degree with honours and a good passing grade from an internationally recognised university or Higher Education institution
• Other international qualifications to an equivalent standard will also be considered.

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS: Academic 6.5 or 7.0 This must include a minimum of 5.5 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
• TOEFL iBT: This must include a total of 75, to include a minimum 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing.
• PTE: This must include a minimum of 67 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
