An innovative Business and Management course offering a specialism in festivals and events.
Events Manager in the making? Want to launch the next top music festival? Whatever your aspirations, our Business and Management (Festivals and Events) course will give you a good grounding in the theory and practice behind the best festivals and events.
Along the way, you’ll develop the core skills you need to excel in all kinds of businesses and start to build a clear picture of exactly where those skills could take you.
We capitalise on our enviable location in the World Heritage City of Bath, the heartland of cultural festivals and events, close to both Glastonbury and Bristol.
Overview
We’ll help you develop as a person to achieve your potential through teaching you about festivals and events and how they work. You’ll graduate with potential for employment in different businesses; this could be an organisation, the private or public sector, a charity or possibly your own business. We aim to give you the skills to apply your knowledge in a wide range of situations in any sector.
Following our festivals and events pathway, you’ll develop specialist skills. As the course progresses you’ll have the opportunity to set up your own festival or event.
You can also bring in modules from areas outside the festivals and events pathway if you want to explore issues around a particular ‘theme’, such as sustainability or global affairs.
