Course Structure

1st year

• Finance and Economics (15 credits)
• Computer Science (15 credits)
• Mathematics and Statistics (15 credits)
• Plus another 15 credits from
  • Accounting
  • Double Computer Science
  • Choice of subject from Group 1, 2 or 6, except Mathematics (Pure)
  • or Critical Skills

Students taking Accounting may transfer to MH401 Finance in second year, while students taking Computer Science may transfer to MH601 Computer Science and Software Engineering in second year

2nd year

• Finance and Economics (15 compulsory credits)
• Computer Science (20 compulsory credits)
• Mathematics and Statistics (15 compulsory credits)
• Plus 10 optional credits from
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • or Mathematics

3rd year

• Finance and Economics (10 credits)
• Computer Science (10 credits)
• Mathematics (10 credits)
• Industrial Placement (subject to availability) or Research Project (30 credits)

4th year

• Finance and Economics (10 compulsory credits)
• Computer Science (10 compulsory credits)
• Mathematics and Statistics (10 compulsory credits)
• Plus 30 optional credits from

Course Duration: 4 years

Career Options

Graduates will be ideally placed to pursue a career in investment banking, treasury management, corporate finance, financial engineering, fintech and wealth management. Alternatively, graduates may prefer to pursue further studies. We offer a range of postgraduate courses which currently include:

Academic qualification equivalents

• Minimum 75% in the Higher Secondary School Certificate- Standard 12 awarded through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the India Council for School Examinations (ICSE), or any equivalent Standard 12 All India Secondary School Certificate

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS      :    6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.00 in each band.
