• This is a programme of study that supports and develops your entrepreneurial learning and provides you with a comprehensive business foundation.
• You will learn how to develop and deliver ideas using the latest business models and frameworks for use within a business setting or if you wanted to explore your own business idea.
• This degree enables you to develop valuable skill sets and perspectives such as creative problem solving, diagnostic skills, communication, project management functional and strategic business capabilities to effectively contribute to business success.

• Entrepreneurship students also have the option of taking a four year degree with a work placement or study year abroad, thus providing you will an opportunity to gain experience in industry and/or learning within another culture.

Course Structure

1st year:

Focus on the core processes of innovation
Set within the context of large to
small firms.

2nd year
Focus on the functions of Business and Entrepreneurship
Optional 10 credit Electives

3rd year

Focus on strategy development and scaling of small businesses to International Corporations
Consideration of both local and international environments.

Course Duration: 3 years (BBS) or 4 years (BBA)

Career Options

 Business graduates are consistently among the most employable in the Irish education system. Entrepreneurship students have a wide variety of career choices available.

• You can work within a business or start up your own business building upon your own entrepreneurial ideas that have been developed and supported throughout the duration of your undergraduate degree programme.
• You can enter business, public or third sector jobs. Careers in consulting, research and design, public service and not-for-profit organisations are also common.
• Entrepreneurship is also global in nature so your opportunity to stay local or to work abroad is also an option.
• Many of our graduates choose to specialise further with a postgraduate degree. The School of Business offers a range of postgraduate programmes for Business students.

Academic qualification equivalents

• Minimum 75% in the Higher Secondary School Certificate- Standard 12 awarded through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the India Council for School Examinations (ICSE), or any equivalent Standard 12 All India Secondary School Certificate

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS      :    6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.00 in each band.
• TOEFL    :    92
• PTE         :    59
