About Bachelor Of Science (ord) Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Science in Letterkenny Institute of Technology
Our Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Science is a three-year programme, that will prepare you for a career as a Pharmaceutical scientist. It’s a fascinating field that will open up a world of career opportunities across a diverse range of sectors.
This degree course is intrinsically multidisciplinary in nature. You’ll spend extensive time studying in state-of-the-art laboratories, preparing you for the work environment upon graduation.
You’ll study the full range of core science subjects, with particular emphasis on Pharmaceutical science and Medical devices. You’ll develop key analytical skills that can be applied in industrial, research and government laboratories, where your knowledge of the needs of the modern pharmaceutical industry can also be harnessed for a successful career in the medicinal product sector and related chemical industries.
