Our Bachelor of Arts in Animation is your gateway to one of the most exciting creative careers in the world. Animation has a significant and growing profile in Ireland right now, and the opportunities on the national and international stage have never been greater.
Whether it’s children’s TV series, advertisements, music videos, the gaming industry or film, animation is everywhere and the skills required to bring a still image bursting to life are more sought after than ever before.
There is no limit to the variety of materials and methods that can be used to make animated films. This is a three-year creative animation course offering a broad range of skills designed to empower you to act independently within the commercial environment after graduation. It equips you with the knowledge and the confidence the contemporary animation industry demands - to be a creative thinkers who can demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach within difference aspect of animation production.
Typical graduate careers include: Animator, 3D Modeler and Storyboard artist in a variety of different fields, including the games industry, advertising, and of course, with animation studios.
