Interactive study: Modules and teaching formats in the Master`s “General Management“

From the first semester onwards, you can put your newly acquired knowledge of economic interrelationships to practical use in three modules that build on each other: Our “Case Lab” focuses on current case studies and best practices on various topics. Together with your fellow students you will work out relevant results which you will present at the end of the semester. Within the scope of our “Business Project” you will solve a real or realistic business case in a team, which will be set by one of our partner companies. Finally, our “Management Simulation Game” offers you the chance to distinguish yourself as the winner of our strategy game.

In the master’s degree programme “General Management” you will further develop these so-called “soft” skills in courses on “Creative Thinking and Innovation” as well as “Team and Self-Management”. In preparation for a future senior management position, we also train you in the area of “Leadership Behaviour”.

Comprehensive preparation for your master’s thesis in the “General Management” programme

Before you complete your “General Management” studies in the fourth semester with your master’s thesis, we prepare you intensively for this in our seminar “Master`s Thesis Tutorial”. You will learn how to narrow down your topic correctly, structure your work cleverly in terms of content and work academically correctly. A purely theoretical master`s thesis is too dry for you? You may also write your master’s thesis during a semester abroad at one of our partner universities or as part of a company project. You may already have met the ideal practice partner for your master’s thesis in “General Management” during your internship between the second and third semester.
