As a graduate student, you are able to pursue our programs through different degree options. Mount Saint Vincent University offers graduate students:

Graduate Education Programs

The Graduate Education program at Mount Saint Vincent University offers several different specialization for you to choose from:

Curriculum Studies

 Earn a degree in General Curriculum Studies, Supporting Learners with Diverse Needs & Exceptionalities (SLDNE) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

Educational Foundations: 

Explore how the foundational disciplines of history, philosophy, and sociology of education affect educational theory and practice. 

Educational Psychology: 

Support learners with varied needs by pursuing a concentration in Education of the Blind and Visually Impaired or Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Elementary and Middle School Education: 

Expand your teaching skills by exploring the relationship between curriculum and teaching in elementary and middle schools.

Literacy Education

Develop the advanced skills that will help you meet the complex demands of fostering literacy learning in schools, in community sites, and in a variety of workplaces.

Lifelong Learning

Develop a broad view of learning and teaching that transpires both within and beyond formal schooling contexts.

School Psychology

Balance research, theory, and practice in this two-year, full-time clinical specialty program.

Academic qualification equivalents

• For entry into a Master's Degree: Completion of BOTH a Bachelor’s (three-year) degree and a Master’s OR a Bachelor’s degree requiring four years of study.Overall score must be 60%.​

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS      :    7.0 (no band below 6.5)
• TOEFL    :    93 (No individual score below 23)
