About Certificate Artstream in Bow valley
Program Description
Artstream is a shared program between Bow Valley College and Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts). It is a bridge to an art and design education for those who have the artistic ability, but do not meet AUArts’ academic or English language proficiency requirements for admission.
The Artstream Certificate is a year-long program. You will take customized academic upgrading courses at Bow Valley College that will help you do well in Liberal Studies at AUArts.
The application process starts with AUArts where you’ll submit an art portfolio showing your talent. Once approved, you may be referred for an academic skills assessment at Bow Valley College. This assessment will determine your acceptance into the program.

- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS : 5.5 with minimum band score of 5.0
- TOEFL : 71
- PTE : 42-50
Tuition fee for domestic and international students are tabulated below:
