The course objectives are to produce graduates who have the following knowledge and skills:

• cognitive, technical and creative skills to generate and evaluate complex ideas and concepts at an abstract level
• cognitive and technical skills to design, use and evaluate research and research method
• communication and technical skills to present a coherent and sustained argument and to disseminate research results to specialist and non-specialist audience
• technical and communication skills to design, evaluate, implement, analyse, theorise and disseminate research that makes a contribution to knowledge

Academic qualification equivalents:

Entry into a research program (postgraduate study) requires completion of:

• an honours degree, or
• a masters degree by coursework with a research component, or
• an equivalent qualification from an approved university.

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS           :    Overall score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)
• TOEFL          :   Test score of 79. Section score no less than:Listening: 19, Speaking: 19, Reading: 18, Writing: 22
• PTE              :    Overall score 58-64 (with no section score less than 50)
