St. Clair College was established in 1967 and is a highly acclaimed public community college serving over 8,500 full time and 20,000 part-time learners on three campuses. The College offers hundreds of career paths in health sciences, community studies, business and information technology, engineering technologies, and media, art & design.
The small, intimate campus, fosters an active student life with intramural sports and a community arena on site for the over 1,300 full-time students. There is a residence on campus and lots of housing opportunities in the community.

The college spent CAD 400,000 on the scholarship program awarding 600 scholarships to the students. The College also provides several scholarships to its non-Canadian students. These scholarships are provided by the St. Clair College Foundation Board in collaboration with the companies, organizations and individuals.
To be eligible for these scholarships, students must be enrolled in a full-time program and must maintain a satisfactory academic standing, i.e. a minimum of 2.0 GPA.

St. Clair offers various scholarships and bursaries to the deserving students. Apart from the school-based scholarships, there are more scholarships offered to the students.
Students must submit one common application to be considered for all or any of these scholarships. Additional requirements such as essays may be attached to certain scholarships.
