University of Salford, is a public university located in Salford, Greater Manchester, England, 1 mile west of Manchester City Center.
It attracts thousands of students from around the world every year, and is located on the banks of the Irwell River in 160 acres (65 hectares) of parkland.
University of Salford is one of the largest employers in the area, and makes an important contribution to the local economy.
