Royal Holloway, University of London, is a public research university founded in 1985 by the merger of two leading colleges, Bedford College (established in 1849) and Royal Holloway College (established in 1886). It is now one of the top 20 universities in the United Kingdom.
It has six colleges, 21 academic departments and about 10,500 students from over 100 countries, both undergraduate and postgraduate.

The university is situated on a 135-acre campus in Egham, Surrey, 40 minutes south-west of central London and just 7 miles from Heathrow airport.
The city is within walking distance and has several stores, bars, and restaurants. The campus is 35 minutes away by rail from central London, and Windsor is just a short journey away.
Thames is Royal Holloway's nearest major city, with a range of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Located nearby is Thorpe park, one of UK's leading theme parks.

They accept the internationally recognized English Language qualifications like IELTS, Pearson Test of English (PTE), Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) and TOEFL IBT. In some countries, they also accept local English language qualifications.x
Students who are unable to meet the English language requirements will have to apply for a preparation program at the Royal Holloway International study center. On successful completion of this program, the students can join the specific course they have applied for.
