Cologne Business School (CBS) is an internationally orientated, state-recognised university of applied sciences and counts as one of Germany's top Business Schools. The Cologne Business School provides the best quality available. In addition to being officially recognized by the responsible state ministry as well as being an accredited institution by the "Wissenschaftsrat" (German Science and Humanities Council), the CBS study programs are also checked regularly by the tri-national accreditation agency, FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) as regards content, topicality and academic feasibility. On behalf of the "Akkreditierungssrates der Bundesrepublik" (German Accreditation Council), the FIBAA examines all degree programs, thus ensuring quality in higher education. CBS provides an exclusive scholarship for Non-EU international students who enroll in any of the Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA programs. Students can also seek financial assistance offered by the German or Foreign Government and other foundations. Some of such scholarships and their basic details are listed below.

• Non-EU Students Scholarship by CBS: A one-time scholarship of 3000 Euros waived from Tuition fees.
• BAföG - state funding for students in Germany: It covers the tuition fee. But, half amount of scholarship has to be repaid as an interest-free loan.
• Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship: It covers a monthly allowance of 750 Euros for Bachelor’s and 850 Euros for Master’s degrees.
• Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes scholarship: Students with good academic performance can avail this scholarship. The scholarship covers the tuition fee up to 300 Euros and also provide a grant depending on the income.

• Application: The interested international applicants can Application can fill the application form through online or by post.
• Application Deadlines: The application form for bachelor’s, master’s and MBA courses is available throughout the year. But foreign applicants are requested to apply as soon as possible. Though, all the study programs start in the Fall semester (August/ September) only.
• General requirements: CV, Certified certificates of previous studies, Certified Transcripts of Record, Letter of Recommendation, Copy of passport and Proof of English language proficiency.
• Additional Requirement: For the Executive MBA, applicants should possess the GMAT score report and relevant work experience of five or more years. For other courses, Job experience certificate is optional.
• English Language Requirement: For applicants, whose native language is not English, have to submit the proof of C1 level in the English language. The certificates* accepted by CBS are as listed below:
